St Croix Sunset Sails:

For your sail, you will depart from the Frederiksted pier on our beloved 63ft custom catamaran, Jolly Mon. Watch Frederiksted and her surrounding beaches from a distance as we sail along the beautiful West End of St. Croix. Depending on the winds, we sometimes round Sandy Point to look for sea turtle tracks! While you sail, you can enjoy live music from local and visiting bands, experience exceptional service from our professional crew, and delight on unlimited rum punch!

Note: Gratuities for crew NOT included and are very much appreciated 🙂 15-20% of your sail cost is industry standard and recommended.
What to Bring:
- Cash/Credit card for bar/tips (we accept Visa/MC/Discover/Amex)
- Light coverup (it can get chilly on the water after the sun goes down)
- Friends and Family! The more the merrier!
- Please note that we are a shoeless boat, and you will be required to surrender your shoes before boarding (exceptions can be made for medical issues).
Where and When to Meet:
We sail from the Frederiksted pier (cruise ship dock) daily! Look for the big red catamaran! Time of departure can vary based on the sunset time/time of year and other factors, so always check your reminder email the day before the sail. If you arrive before check-in time, we recommend waiting at Tap Deck or Six Nine, in the courtyard across from the Pier. Check-in begins at the start time listed on your ticket–there is a 30 minute buffer time (period of check-in) built in to the start time. There is no need to arrive prior to the start time.
NOVEMBER 1-JANUARY 15: Check-in BEGINS at 4PM, with a 4.30PM departure.
JANUARY 16-APRIL 15: Check-in at 4.30PM for a 5.00PM departure
APRIL 16-AUGUST 31: Check-in at 5.00PM for a 5.30PM departure
FAQ: It’s check-in time but the gates are locked!! How do I get in? The USVI Port Authority is in charge of the Pier and keeps the gates locked while the pier is undergoing construction. Our crew will open the gates for you at check-in time and periodically throughout the check-in period. Please be patient as we navigate this construction period with the Port Authority!
Children on Board Policy:
Well-behaved children of all ages are welcome on all our sails, except where noted. That said, children must be under parental/guardian supervision at all times and remain seated. Absolutely no horseplay, screaming or running around allowed. For any child 8 and under, please bring your own lifejacket. We have children’s lifejackets available, but they are for emergencies. For children 3 and under that are ambulatory, parents MUST bring a lifejacket. Babies can be brought on board in carseats or strollers.
Prices: Children 10+ are full price, ages 2-9 are 1/2 price, and 0-2 are free, except on special event sails or limited-space sails.
Credit Card Policy:
Please note: If you use a credit card to book your sail, but the cardholder is not a passenger sailing that day, you will be asked for the cardholder to fill out a credit card authorization form. Forms will be sent from lyricsailsvi@gmail.com and can be returned to that email address.
Cancellation Policies:
WEATHER: Unfortunately the weather can be unpredictable in the Caribbean. Although it is sunny most days, we do get rain! If there is island-wide rain with no signs of clearing up, we typically cancel the sail as there is not enough shelter on the boat for all our guests and musicians. Small rain clouds are usually not an issue since we can see them coming and can often avoid them by sailing in a different direction! We also have ponchos for all guests in case of unexpected rain. If WE cancel due to weather cancellations, you will receive a full refund or credit that can go towards another sail. We will let you know as soon as possible if there is a weather cancellation.
OTHER: We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you decide you cannot sail with us and cancel 48 hours before your sail, you will receive a full refund. A 50% refund can be issued 24 hours prior to sail. Under select circumstances, credit for a future sail will be offered for cancellations within the 24 hour window. This does not apply to special event sails, New Year’s Eve or July 4th. No-shows will NOT receive any refund or any credit. Any customer that decides not to sail with us on the day of the sail without prior notice will not receive a refund or credit. Large parties of 7+ people have a 1 week cancellation policy.
No refunds or credit will be given AFTER customers have completed their sail. The original cancellation policy applies to all rebooked sails, regardless of cancellation reason.
Credits for future sails are only valid ONE YEAR from original sail date, NO EXCEPTIONS.
If multiple discounts are applied to the sail, the discounts are preferentially applied to the lower priced tickets. Any discounts must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively for a refund. Thank you for understanding!
PLEASE NOTE: Safety is our utmost priority. The Captain and Crew reserve the right to deny boarding to any passenger who appears intoxicated. No refunds will be given for passengers denied boarding, NO EXCEPTIONS.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS:
As a multi-passenger US Coastguard inspected vessel, we do require a minimum number of people to confirm each sail. We rarely have this issue, but it can happen.
