DESCRIPTION:Deri’Andra Tucker is a singer-songwriter\, dancer\, and actress who was born and bred in New Orleans\, LA. She’s a proud alumna of Dillard University and McDonogh 35 Senior High School. While obtaining a degree in Recording Arts from Dillard\, Deri performed as a member of the New Orleans Saintsations: The Official Cheerleading Team of the New Orleans Saints. During her tenure\, she cheered the Saints on to their very first Super Bowl victory and was selected as the Pro Bowl Cheerleader for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl in Honolulu\, Hawaii.\nAfter relocating to New York in June of 2016\, Deri made her theatrical debut in the Korean tour of Dreamgirls\, a musical production that made its return to Seoul\, South Korea in the summer of 2017. Deri’s lifelong goal is to continue living out the will of God\, and the legacy of her late father; Derrick “Shack” Mushatt\, whom was gunned down on the streets of New Orleans in 1997.
